Teams have their own unique group needs and dynamics. It’s important to work with teams as a whole in addition to the mental performance training individual team members are doing. Team sessions are perfect for teams that want to improve their collective performance.
By working on mental skills as a team, athletes are able to develop their mental game while increasing team cohesion. This helps build the skills that improve a team’s ability to be mentally ready to perform as a cohesive group toward a common goal. The skills that we work on with a team are chosen specifically for that team’s situation, but may include team identity, goal setting, communication, building trust, overcoming frustration, individual roles within a team, and leadership.
At Triangle Performance Consultants we offer services for teams and organizations that have the desire to optimize their team functioning which can, in turn, have productive effects on team performance.
